Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Simon graduated from Liverpool Vet School in 2013 and joined the practice soon afterward. Simon became our Senior Veterinary Surgeon in November 2020.
Over the years he has developed a keen interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and now holds a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in these areas.
In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering for his church and watching sci-fi movies with his whippet and one-eyed cat.

Rebecca Hindley BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Rebecca graduated from Liverpool Veterinary School and started at Rees in 2021. She particularly enjoys animal behaviour and exotics (including fish!)
In her free time Rebecca enjoys roller skating, playing piano, or blowing her cornet for local brass bands.

Rose Fulford BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Rose graduated from Liverpool Veterinary School and started at Rees in September 2022. She has a particular interest in medicine and imaging.
In her free time, Rose enjoys hiking and sailing (especially when it’s sunny!).

Charlotte Jackman BVMedSci BVMBVS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Charlotte graduated from The University of Nottingham and started at Rees Veterinary Centre in September 2021. Charlotte has a particular interest in surgery.
Back at her family home in Hertfordshire, she has a lively young border collie called Jasper and she enjoys spending time outdoors horse riding.

Sarah Lloyd BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Sarah graduated from Bristol and started at Rees in August 2015. She particularly enjoys clinical pathology and ultrasonography, so can usually be found in the lab.
At home Sarah has a Springer Spaniel called Walter, who even as an older boy, still lives up to his Springer nature.
She enjoys hiking in her spare time, and having moved up to Manchester from Kent is enjoying living so close to mountains.

Claire Roberts BSc BVMedSci BVMBVS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Claire qualified from the University of Nottingham and joined Rees Vets in August 2013. She took the scenic route to becoming a vet, having previously obtained a zoology degree from the University of St Andrews.
Her interests at the practice include internal medicine and diagnostic imaging and she also acts as the veterinary surgeon for the Cats Protection Adoption Centre in Warrington and is the practice’s ‘Cat Advocate’ for our Cat Friendly Clinic.
Claire lives with her cat, Rosie, and in her spare time she enjoys running (albeit slowly!), going to the gym and skiing.

Patrick Thomas BVMS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Patrick qualified from Glasgow University in a previous century (1990). He has a keen interest in orthopaedics and all forms of surgery. He has worked round the Manchester area for the past 30 years and joined Rees Vets in January 2021.
Outside of work he enjoys target rifle shooting, table top (and computer) gaming and walking the countryside and hills of the North West.
He has two dogs and is currently looking after his daughter's guinea pigs and land snails.
